Tank Work

Ok guys need ur help, not tech inclined but would imagine this is common sense, I am about to send my bike out for a paint job, now Im about to remove the tank tonite, is there an easy way to drain the fuel out or am I gonna have to syphon it out or any other options?

When you plan your work and work your plan, you will find that God is in man.

That is the easiest way. Remember that you can disconnect the line coming out of your pump and will only let out a tiny squirt of fuel from the line. Then just position the tank over a funnel and container, remove the hex bolts and collect the gas to use in your lawn mowerYou almost have to take the pump off to get all the gas out before you paint it anyways.

Ride like you pay a mortgage...

Easiest and probably the fastest way:

Remove fuel line.
Turn key to ON (dont start bike), fuel will be coming out so fast you'll be done prolly in 2 minutes.
