A Tale of Two Maps....

ok people..
solve this one. I got a muzzy slip on, exhaust valve disconnected and bmc race.
The map for the muzzy slip on is so far off on my bike at BARELY would run. Hardly idle, stumble, ran hot,the whole schabang..
same luck with the sato slipon one too..
The map i got from the place i bought my PCIII from i told him what i had and he gave me this map ill post here, and the drivability is awesome, very smooth running. the thing i find odd is it runs like poop with the majority of the maps you can download, the amout of leaness in the cells is incredible. anyone else have the same thing happen? the map he gave me isnt listed anywhere, but he's a tuning link center so im not sure if he gave me a custom map he made for someone elses ten,but all i know is it doesnt have the same pattern what so ever with anyother downloadable map ive seen, this one is mostly richer..
anyone elses bike run simular?? check out the maps people and tell me what you think...
any and all comments appreciated!
Dave
PS-the slipon map is straight from muzzy.
the onpowercommander map is from motofuel

That's the point about mapping your bike. ALL bikes, (same model bike, same mods, it's no different) are DIFFERENT. So when people jump on and say "But I have a Termi pipe, and dynojet don't have amp for that" who cares? Just try one, or all, they'll be in the same ballpark or not anyway, as you have just found out. If you want your bike 100%, get it custom mapped, it'll be better again.

yea i realize that now. whats really sad is that in reading about him it's obvious that he was a stand-up guy that everyone respected as a friend, a person,a rider, and a racer.

here is what I posted..

Hi all. I joined here to express my grief for your fallen friend. I have swapped some info with him over on another site. (zx10r.net) Didn't know him personally but it's very obvious he was a special person to a lot of you.
I pray for his friends and family to get through this difficult time.

Godspeed Dave.

I have an idea for a remembrance..he had a racing number. Maybe all of you that were close to him could put those numbers somewhere on your bike so that you know he's riding with you and in your minds wherever you go.
number was 723 i believe.

Actually, this post was written considerably less than 24 hours before his death; the post was late afternoon on the same day.

My condolences to his friends and family.
