Tails sags on new 3rd gen

The bike is brand new and the tail sits about 1 inch closer to the tire hugger than my buddies brand new 3rd gen. It makes the bike look level instead of angled in the front like all the other 3rd gens I know. I don't know much about suspension, but is there a way I can adjust that heigth? Ive read about shimming, but was hoping there were other options because I feel like I should not have to shin a new bike to put it where a stock new bike should be. Hoping there are some adjustments I can make. Thanks.

Post pics so we can see what you're talking about.

I may not be perfect, but at least I don't ride a Suzuki.

My guess is that the preload is at softest and or the shim thats supposed to be there(@ top of shock mount) was missed..While your there go over all your suspension settings and copy them down..Chk that preload on forks are not maxed out and rebound/compression have matching settings on both sides to..Mine was all over the place when i bought my gen 3..

It is probably the pre load.

Even then sounds weird, because if both are new the preload should be just about the same.
