swapping fork springs?

how difficult is going to be for me to change fork springs by myself or should I send my forks to a good suspension tuner, it is my street bike not my track bike, 07 10R. T-Man upgraded my track bike but I dont need all the valves etc just new springs, mine are way too stiff. Any direction to a how too would be greatly appreciated.

You will need a Fork Spring Compressor. If you get the Racetech you can do it yourself. If you can the cheapo model an extra set of hands will be needed. Depending on what spring you get (Racetech, Ohlins, Traxxion,) will detemine how much if any you would have to cut the spacer. If you have no idea what I'm talking about then go no further have a reputable shop take care of it. If you bring them the parts and forks off the bike probably charge you no more then 1 hour shop time.
