Get your suspension tuned better. If you were getting "tank slaps all the time" you would've dumped the bike by now. A little wiggle is normal and the stock damper is more than adequate.

Ohlins sells a race SCU for the electric damper for racing and kyleusa.com can revalve the manual one. Been covered in-depth before.

I may not be perfect, but at least I don't ride a Suzuki.

Ridding the Internet of bad grammar, 1 post at a time.

after 20hp was added to my bike I was getting headshake as the front end was getting real light in all the gears under hard acceleration. I thought it was a steering damper issue, discussed it at the time with SkyDork and he pointed out that replacing the damper with a stiffer one at this point would be masking the problem, real issue is with the chassis setup. So I discussed it with my shop and they agreed, said what I really needed to take care of this was to replace the rear linkage. Wound up doing that + a full suspension replacement at the same time, but the headshake issue was gone. Oh and another good tip SkyDork gave was not to hold on to the bars too tight, donít man-handle it too much.

Get a new rear spring, get the shock re-valved for your weight (if you weigh more than 175lbs without gear.) Send damper to Kyle racing for revalve.

And have your suspension set up by someone who knows what they are doing.

Before I did all this I could not got wot. Now my bike has the smoothness of a 600 under wot; it's really an amazing transformation!!!
