Steering damper not damber. Your options are scotts, gpr, hyperpro (which will use the stock mounting hardware, so it's a little cheaper) or you can have your stock damper re-valved. Contact Brad at www.superbikesupply.com and he can help out with any of the above.

Because wheelie!!!

I sent my factory Ohlins to Dan Kyle Racing, for $97 he converted mine to the race version. Now its a "real" damper. No need to buy another one. All Ohlins are the same internally, and they all have to same oil. The factory has 2 holes drilled in the needle valve, the others don't. He replaces this part and a valve seat. Very nice people to work with and cheaper than buying another one.

Guys, he's in Greece. Just keep following the legs of the HOT girl down past her feet and you'll see that.

A steering damper is a shock absorber without a spring. Any decent suspension shop should be able to revalve it as mentioned. Ask some local racers who they go to for suspension work.

Or you can just change to a heavier oil, there are several threads on here you can search through and find the directions, it is the easiest way to go and pretty much all the members that have tried it swear by it. Several members will say that this does not work, is dangerous, but no one that I know of that has just changed the oil has had any problems. It may not be the way to go if you are a racer, that is extremly sensitive to bike setup and feel, but for most riders a slightly heavier oil will work fine, IMHO.

Dan Kyle is in California. His phone #831-394-1330 Just call and ask for Dan or Alex. Dan Kyle is Mr. Ohlins. He also built engines for Erion racing years ago when Erion was a good racing team. I don't know who thinks he's in Greece but I talked with his yesterday, he was in Cali. He is the largest Ohlins dealer in the US other than Ohlins of coarse. If you ask Ohlins who the man is they will tell you Dan Kyle.
