Sluggish take off

on a 06 zx10r how do you get rid of the sluggish take off

Remove secondary butterflies or gear it. Regardless you will never have much power in the low rpms, gearing the bike down just lets you get into the powerband sooner.

OR degree your cams!! Re gear and degree will give you more bottom and mid range.

The 06-07 has plenty of tq down low compared to the 3rd gens it just has a really tall 1st gear. Drop a tooth on the front or get a TRE and problem solved.

Yeah a sprocket change should help out no doubt.
