Side mount steering damper

Does anyone know if you can mount a steering damper on the side (frame_ of the zx-10R? I have a side mount from another bike that I would like to use but I am not sure if I can.

Any instructions would be great.

Yes, if you can get your hands on the Kawasaki race-kit part, you can side-mount a damper on the right side. The bracket is designed to fit nicely into the pocket in the engine mount bracket and share the stock bolt.

The hard part is getting your hands on that bracket - it's not on the regular parts listing that the dealers have. I got it because I knew somebody ...

You could also make up a bracket yourself; it's not exactly rocket science.

Helibars, MRA screen, Ohlins damper, reversed shift pattern, sorted suspension, braided lines, Michelin Pilot Power, all else stock 'coz it's fast enough!

I never thought about the right side. I will take a look at it tonight. Do you have any pictures?

Thanks
