Angry rust in my tank

guys just put new fuel pump in my 04 10 coz it was cuting off when i hit it and i did found lots of rust in my gas and u can see some in the tank on the weld in side what can i do to stop it to rust more its my 3rd fuel pump on this bike ty

trying to figure out how so much rust got into your tank. cheap gas. as far as i know. the tank can be clean out. some places do it for cars can also do it for bikes. maybe a good clean out. the fuel pump will last longer.

Rain. Whats is this Rain i keep hearing?.

i do get super gas all the time sanoco or mobil gas never in cheap gas i did clean the tank and got new pump from ebay and its good now but for how long lol is there a way to put better gas filter in this bikes ????

Get a product called Kream. It is a multi-stage product that works great. I used VP race fuel in my tank and it never effected the coating. Costs is around $30

Put some BB's in the tank along with the etching formula and shake it around a bunch. This will also help dislodge the rust. Follow the directions to the TEE! I know several guys that have also used this product with great results.

Keep your tank as full as possible when sitting outside in cold weather. Use only gas from newer gas stations.

Catalogs like Chaparral carry it.
