Reusable Cotter Pins

Does anyone know where I can source this part to fit through the axle and nut of the Gen 4 rear axle?

You can get a split lock washer to replace the oem washer and ditch the cotter pin.

I use this hitch pin which can be found at Home Depot, Lowes and Tractor Supply.

The problem with these clips is they are easy to catch on things and spring open. I lost one of those clips off a bike and had no idea how long I went without it. The R clip @obijack mentioned is a better solution for an axle lock. Mostly what I use.

I use rear axle sliders. Woodcraft (a highly respected and reputable company) sends a 24mm split lock washer with their kit (i used the evotech kit which did not include a split lock washer). The washer allows you to get rid of the cotter pin all together, because it keeps tension on the nut. I have been doing a lot of very hard riding since i changed from he cotter pin to the split lock washer. I have checked the torque of my axle nut many times. The nut's torque has not changed, at all. I bought my split lock washer from Ace.
