Replacing fork seals for the first time?

Short and sweet. Both forks are leaking, and I have read about replacing the seals in the forums but I have never done it myself. I wanted to know if it would be too much to tackle by myself? I am mechanically inclined and I learn by doing, but I will eventually end up doing 150+ mph on this thing and I want to know if I should leave it to a professional?

They are pretty easy to do with the correct tools and a buddy to help compress the forks. I would say you wont have a problem getting the job done, just make sure you dont scratch the inside of the fork tubes when taking out the old seals...

I'm thinking I might tackle this one with a buddy and save myself 250 bucks.

Do it man!! You'll be glad you did. I bought that tool kit for $100 bucks and have done about a dozen forks since. Its a piece of cake once you get it down
