Replacing ECM questions

So my gen 2 ZX10R is only running on cylinders 2 & 4. I’ve tried switch 1 & 3 coils to 2 & 4 with no change. Did the same thing with spark plugs, same result. Getting power to all coils & injectors. Someone else on the forum had this same issue and remedied it with a new ECM(second hand). So a used ECM will be arriving next week. Will the new ECM just plug in with no issues or will I need to reprogram the ignition to the new ECM? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Garage
Plugs in with no issues.

Disconnect your battery until you're done plugging and unplugging stuff.
