removing rear pegs

Hello I just purchased a green 06 10r. And I have to get rid of those rear pegs b/c im not into riding bitches on the back at all. But i noticed that the right rear peg also doubles as a mounting point for the rear brake revisoir(sp) If anyone already has taken the rear pegs off any help would be appreciated and pics would be even better!!
