I don't know exactly what the process entails. I had it done at a local shop that specializes in race car stuff..

is that a gloss finish or satin....i think a satin would look a little better to match the frame but looks good

They are powder coated with a gloss finish. Although, you can't really tell from the pics the finish is the same color as the fairing..
