Question to all Akrapovic exhaust owners

Can you measure the inner width between pipes? I wanted to do fender elimination today, and my license plate is too big to fit between stock pipes (can you imagine that??? )...

Maybe the width with acro pipes would be different - wider? Then i'll have to wait till i get pipes....

Thanks a lot !!

I attach the pic to show what i mean

Why not cut the license plate a little or bend it or mount it on the swingarm? That would be cheaper than buying new cans.

I live my life a quarter-pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, im free. I need FRIESSSS! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didnt blow a seam on your nugget box.

Well i was going to buy cans anyway so just wanted to know if i need to do something else or just wait for them....and yes, they made license plates wider recently ....damn crazy ppl.

Will think about bending edges only or smth like that, but still it would be good to know if akrapovic is wider than stock ...

i just put my whole rear together, I would loosen the cans at the "y", and adjust them, or add washers to get the cans farther apart. its just a few bolts.

That plate is just under 7 1/4 " wide, you have a hair under 8 1/2 " total in between the cans

Thanks! 8.5" thats the same as stock. Will have to play with widths, not much needed (.5" to add).
