Question about the Airbox

I just looked under the gastank with it still being mounted so that i could see the airbox lid and i noticed that it looks like the lid dont come flush together on both sides of the front {twards the Damper}. im assuming its normal cause its on both sides but im not sure. you guys know?

Mine is flush (no gap). Did you have work done to it. My dealership left every screw half way out (after I made them transfer every mod I had from one bike to another), and I had to tighten them. Long story short, the dealership had to give a 0 mles bike to a title mistake by them.

i had a aftermarket filter put in by the dealer

There are little rubber gromets to keep it from contacting the frame directly. It should be fine.

Maybe the gap is bigger than it looks in the picture, but it should not be metal to metal.
