QB Carbon Airbox for 1st Gen?

As i was pondering my thoughts on what to do next on my 04 zx10r i came across a CF custom airbox with velocity stacks from QB world of carbon.

Has anyone used this or even heard of anyone using it?
figured it is about one of the only bolts left i can do then have it re-tuned with the kit intake cam.

unless it has more volume than the stock one i dont think it will help any. if it is bigger than stock you should see a hp or two.

defineately appears larger and works like my old durbahn airbox using the top of the tank for the lid and surely has more volume to it.
they used it in the BSB and world endurance racing from what i am getting told.

humm.... i would say that will probally give you some gains but if it is worth the money or not its up to you. Hp per dollar is probally not that high. I do know that we had a 10 motor on a 636 with a custom airbox that was 1.5 times the size of the stock one and when we swaped the motor into a 10 with a stock air box we lost 6 hp

So im guessing not many people have used these carbon airboxes, im also keen to get one if its going to give good gains in HP but its a lot of cash for 1 or 2hp, id like to know what others think or have experienced?? I have done the intake cam, thinner head gasket, and full Akro evo II, and PC III, is it a worth while investment??

I didnt forget, i just didnt remember

Don't waste your money. Your engine can only breathe in as much air as mechanically designed. The stock ram air box is more than enough with the exception of a highly modified motor (bored, stroked, cams, larger valves, full exhaust, etc..etc..
