Question PC III Install Questions?

New to ZX10R and honestly to fuel injected bikes overall. I have had old school gixxers with flat slides and different tuning. I have questions on my first PC III install.

Does tank require to be emptied to be hinged up to get to connectors?
Do I map this prior to putting on bike?
Do I download map and put it on PC III directly?
Where do I get the map for my BOZ B2?????or just open heaeer map, basically same thing.....
Any tips fjro install???Thanks

1. No...The tank doesn't need to be empty. But my personal preference is to remove the tank all together. It doesn't take much more, and it give you a lot more room to work with.

2&3. If you don't have access to a laptop, then the only way to get the map on the bike is to put it on the PCIII before putting it on the bike.

4. Powercommander should have a map on their website. If not, try the maps posted by members here.

5. Just follow instructions... It's not too bad of an install.

Good Luck!!

What can I say...I like the factory bikes!

A Very EASY Install. +1 Above. Also in the instructions you got with your PC (which I am guessing you should've gotten ; new or used) it is VERY detailed. If you do not have instructions you can DL them from DJ's site.

2005 PMR. Full Ti Evo 2, BMC Race, V-Stacks, PC3, IG Module, DJ QS (not installed), 1/5th throw (not installed), -1 +2 with Gold RK Chain, Speedo Healer V4, Removed 2ndaries, Red GiPro, Pilot Powers, Dual H.I.D.s, Brocks brackets and strap, Rear 2" Muzzy Drop, Vortex Rearsets, Scotts Damper, 2 HyperPro Dampers, Puig DB, ASV Levers, Titax Levers, Pazzo Levers, Kill switch (made to look like it's mounted), CA front/rear lights and a owner who adores her...
