I've seen some of their carbon, and it seemed decent, however, I've heard some complaints from the R1 guys that the long term quality is not that great. I believe the CF is made for them in the Czech Republic.

Do a search here...I remember seeing an '05 with the full OPP set "raw",

looked pretty good.

I ordered a race hugger for my '05, was back ordered....finally got it after

2 months 1/2...

If you are looking for a carbon tank for your '04, you may want to check out Fuelcel. Their composite tank weighs about 5 lbs. My buddy's tank was the donor for the tank -- he's a little bent, because he paid significantly more to have a one-off made for him and now they are making it available to the public at a substantially lower price. The fuelcel tank is cooler than the OPP tank (tried them first) because it is almost an exact replica of the 04/05 tank. It was actually skinned off the original tank and has all of the original contours.

I have help prototype many parts for the 04-05 Zx10r 05-06 Zx6r 06-07 Zx10r and 07-08 Zx6r for free. I do it for the good of Kawasaki sportbikes. They your buddy we sincerly appreciate his effort.

Thanks for your words; I'll let him know... He's over it now... he didn't have a problem helping prototype the part... he's just upset that he paid additional to have it done, because they had no plans to produce one on their own. On top of that, the finish of his original tank got messed up from the moldmaking process. If they had simply charged him what they are charging on the site and not damaged the tank, I think he would have been okay with it.
