I've come to realize tonight that the 1st gen 10 anyway is a dog in 1st. Lol I know a lot of you already know that, but sh!t. I swear this 750 I rode with tonight; piped, takes 10's off the line. We were all out, believe it or not more Kawi's ( pretty much 600's except for wa ) then Gixxers and you don't see that much. The 750 owner and I were messin with one another then he gave me the "eye" at the light and we did a first to 2nd run and although I know if I was strapped in the front I could've really gotten on it more then I did, but he was ahead by a nose. The 750 was really smooth. Grr I can't believe I said that - F'n Suzuki. But yea tomorrow when I get the reast of my mods put on plus the -1 +2 I am hoping for a nice awakining Note he is dropped 2" and weighs a est 170. I'm stock height and weigh 206

2005 PMR. Full Ti Evo 2, BMC Race, V-Stacks, PC3, IG Module, DJ QS (not installed), 1/5th throw (not installed), -1 +2 with Gold RK Chain, Speedo Healer V4, Removed 2ndaries, Red GiPro, Pilot Powers, Dual H.I.D.s, Brocks brackets and strap, Rear 2" Muzzy Drop, Vortex Rearsets, Scotts Damper, 2 HyperPro Dampers, Puig DB, ASV Levers, Titax Levers, Pazzo Levers, Kill switch (made to look like it's mounted), CA front/rear lights and a owner who adores her...

I wonder if removing the secondaries bogs the engine?

How much airflow does the engine need at 3000rpm anyway? Maybe the secondaries are there to maintain flow velocities and prevent fuel from condensing on the walls?

Just thinking out loud.

750 was on stock gearing. I launched at 5500 and didn't get to WOT. It was by a nose like I said. He was also about 40lbs less then me. Let me add this. I am not a pro, but I feel I do pretty well on my 10. Not the best but good. With more seat time can only be better. I just watched tho how that thing glided and thought sh!t

as Ricky Bobby would say, "with all do respect, and i mean with all do respect" you suck at racing if you lost to a 750, that 750 shouldnt even be able to hold the 10s jock strap, and like you said your going to a more aggressive gear ratio and it will be harder to go wot now then before, but best of luck to you

Another 2k rpm wouldn't hurt...do you practice much with the clutch. I'm just going to assume that guy with the 750 has a serious weight advantage and is pretty damn good at riding his bike.

and he thinks it's bad now...I hear he's going to try the Drag Strip...if he's knocking the 1st gear for his loss he is going to be in even more disappointment when he hits the strip.
