OEM Ohlins damper upgrade

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but...

I found out the difference between our oem dampers and after-market...
legally Ohlins cannot mod them to be the same as the after-market, but I have a number of a guy who can. $75 is all it costs to have the best damper out there. I past mine down without even seeing how the oem was and regret it.

Guys name is Mike, 770-500-6445. tell him to reach David from Ohlins and he'll get him the parts he needs. I'm sending mine out sometime in the next week or so. He said it'll take about two weeks to send it back because they're behind right now...

It's not parts needed. The oil weight is the difference. I put 45w in mine and it's stiff as sex time. So he charges $75 for a oil change. There is a thread on how do complete this process.

I've done that but didn't use fork oil and sucked. I'll try it with the fork oil. The dude fron ohlins actually said the oem has some sort of valve that the after-market doesn't.

The stock Ohlins has a larger bleed orifice , the aftermarket one has different valving for sure.
