o2 sensor install

so i got a daytona wideband that im installing my problem is i cant find anyone who will weld a titanium nut into my y pipe ( cat pipe). I have a 07 zx10r and i wanted to get it put into the flat spot were the euro bikes have oxygen sensors installed now my question is will it work if i just drill a whole install the o2 into it and use a nut on the threads from the inside so it would just be almost like bolting the o2 into the exhaust
Any info or help would be awesome

If you have the stock cat i don't think it is ti. Of course mine is a US bike, it is magnetic unlike the header. I welded mine in the back where it goes back to one pipe, since i had a single sensor, with no problems. I wanted it on the outside so it would be easy to get to, and painted it flat black. Very few people even notice it when I have it pluged off.
