rare to see service like this, me happy!!! free replacement after 2 years, no Q's asked!

so this was from me, today..................

"I had a few questions and would appreciate if you could help me out. I have a blue GIPro ATRE for my 2005 zx10r which ive had for 2 years. I have no programmable fuctions from what i can tell and here is what i get on the display; and A C or L o on "activation", L o after L appears for gear learning, and for TRE setting i can see what the setting is but when i try to change it i can get up to a few depressions on the button, setting "changes" but continues blinking and needs power removed to reset. On top of that the setting does not save/change.

So....only reason i found this out is because my gear indicator has become pretty delayed up on 4-6, which i know is somewhat normal for the close voltage outputs, and sometimes down on 4-2 and i was going to re-program it. I have no clue and hope you maybe know, sounds like unit failure? Thanks again in advance."

Thank you for your email - I'm sorry to hear about the problem.

It sounds like the button got wet and the unit thinks it is depressed constantly.
Please let it dry and it should work fine again.
It will also help if you spray some WD40 through the button hole.

After 1-2 dry days, it might be a good idea to put a square of quality black electrical tape over the button to help keep water out in the future.

If the above does not apply, maybe the button got stucked. In this case please try to loosen it up by using a small flat head screwdriver.

If the button works fine again, but the gear readings are not correct in all gears, please execute the Learning procedure.

If nothing helps, please send the unit in in a bubble mailer, via standard/normal post to the following address with Zero declared value:

We will send a new unit on turnaround.

Norbert is the best Tech service you can find period. He gave me a GiPro half costs if I tested it for him and a special Speedohealer 1/2 price free shipping to work with my 06 Cluster on my 04 Bike. He also gave technical advice with that and helped me with the calculations for a setup that had nothing to do with his company.

This is my second time, first one took a shit and wouldnt power up out the box, annoying but no questions asked i shipped it to him and got a brand spankin new one. Now this and the same deal, a few tech question and if no resolution free straight replacement. Its sotra crappy dealing with this but i feel damn lucky to not have to keep buying new ones and keep forkin out $$$$$. If your reading this Norbert, YOUR AWESOME!!!!!!
