Neodymium Magnets!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I am about to purchase some neodymium magnets to place on my oil filter and herd of some people putting them in the oil pan. I am about to drop the oil pan to replace the clutch, shift star, and detent arm. So I was wondering if anyone has done this before I order, so that I may order more if it works well?

Don't think I would put them in the oil pan on a bike, not much room in there as it is and you would have to drop it again to clean anything they pick up out. Stick with them on the filter only, much safer that way IMO.

AInt gonna stick to shit in the oil pan besides maybe your crank, oil pan is aluminium!

On a side note we had some of those magnets floating around the office, they are seriously strong! We had lik 3/8 inch squares and stuck to eachother they are very hard to pry apart, a guy put one on the front of his ear lobe and one on the back pinching his ear and it made it bleed!
