need suggestions on forks, OEM or Leak Proof brand

Hey guys, wondering if I should try out the brand leak proof for fork seals, I can get them in next week and not have to wait but wondering your guy's thoughts on them.

One other thing, My dust seals look real good not dry rotted or anything they look good so should who here has done seals but re-used the dust seal?

Also What are your thoughts on fluids??? Ive been thinking about motul.....

Don't do it!!!

We put leakproof seals in my brothers 06, and they started leaking soon after, much worse than the OEM the first time around. The stiction was waaaayyyyyy worse then OEM too. We replaced with OEM, and they have been great since. I think the original leaking right seal was because the seal was installed wrong the first time at the factory (upsidedown). As for the dust seals, if you can get the OEM out without hurting it, you could reuse it, but I would put in new...very cheap insurance for the new seal.

yeah I think I'll just stick with OEM stuff, Im gunna make a call to a dealership tomm locally and see if they happen to have them in stock which i doubt but ya never know.

I got some races not this weekend but the next that I'm trying to get ready for...

Just stick with the OEM seals. The leakproof kit sucks. I won't even sell them to customers that insist on them because all they do is come back and complain.

go with oems or you can call all balls bearings they sell some that i have in my bike they have 10000 on them no leaks

whats easy to overlook with the leak resistent/proof seals is the tighter tolerances between seal lip and tube which translates into more stiction.
