K & N Filter

just got a new K&N filter & it sure seems like a wimpy thing..........I'm unsure that it'll seal up tightly as it has none of the plastic housing the original has.

am I missing something?

first gen if that matters

Race or street filter??? Know when I had my first gen was lookin at filters but they all looked like they would allow more crap in then the stock ones so I just grabbed a new oem one!!

I dont recall seeing a designation

I believe it's street.

The OEM is rigid, this one does flex into place but just doesnt instil confidence the way it sits in there

The lid should push down on the filter.
