Just quick Q

Going to put an 05 pipe on my 06, do i need to replace the headers with 05 ones so it lines up or is there just a different midpipe ?

Try Trail & Error method.
See what works best.
Why you fitting an 05 to a 06?

What have you got? End can only? No need to change the headers. Should only need to look at midpipe onwards.

Ahhh ok cool thanks for that :) I have the 06 headers undamaged but the 06 midpipe is totalled and only have 1 can left. Might buy the 05 midpipe first and see if i can fit the 06 can to it on its own.

The 05 midpipe sticks out towards the right footpeg. The 06 travels straight underneath the bike. U can fab a shorty end can and mount a hanger that fixes onto ur heelguard, if ur using the 05 midpipe. But still need to check if the 05 midpipe matches ok with the 06 headers.

This has been done before by a member here , he had to make a short intermediate pipe to get the collector connected so it pointed in the right direction.

I couldnt tell you what to search for but its on here somewhere.

05 cans don't have any pipe running out of them. They just slip on the mid-pipe.

Let me know if you're looking for some 04-05 headers.
