:iamwithst jk You would be better off using one of dj map. There is no way ivan can give you a good map with all the different exhaust systems out there. Your best bet is to get a custom tune if you can afford it.

custom tune brother. Avg price low to high is $150-275

Just spend the money if you got a decent amount of mods. If not mod up then get it done

I love how everyone is an expert tuner.

Didn't say it was "gold". But his maps are among the best there is if a custom tune isn't available to you for whatever reason.

Ivan doesn't have one map he gives out to cover every exhaust. He specializes in Akra but he has other maps for different exhausts/setups. And you are correct about getting a custom tune but the original poster didn't ask whether he should use Ivan's map or get a custom tune.

Like I said. Everyone's an expert. For people who don't know, Ivan has been tuning and developing go fast parts for bikes longer than a lot of people on this forum have been riding or even alive. I wasn't trying to be a dick to the original poster or say that Ivan's maps are better than a custom tune. Ivan doesn't like his maps shared because of all the time he puts in trying to get the most power out of a given combination while keeping good rideability as opposed to just going for big dyno numbers and ending up with a peaky power curve. And I think people should respect his wishes. Besides the fact that if you call and talk to him he will likely give you the map even without buying something from him.

His map is NO better for "your" bike than a provided map by dynojet or any other member who has a map made with the same mods as you. Each bike (motor) is unique. Some maps will work better than other, some will work better upper rpm, some lower.....but his will not fit your bike like it fit the bike it was made for.

If he has you suckered into that thinking, go buy it from him.

Never said i was an expert tuner, but do know what im doing adjusting the FI, and carbs and working with a dyno. A good friend owns a business with one and i have played with it a LOT.
