Ivans block off kit

I am thinking about purchasing a Ivan's block off kit. It seems like a nice kit and he supplies little gaskets. What is the red plastic nut to in the pic? The air box hole is not threaded so where does that go? Also do you have to mess with your fuel when installing this b/c if so I will install the morning of "dyno day". Does this cause you to get a FI light?

2005 PMR. Full Ti Evo 2, BMC Race, V-Stacks, PC3, IG Module, DJ QS (not installed), 1/5th throw (not installed), -1 +2 with Gold RK Chain, Speedo Healer V4, Removed 2ndaries, Red GiPro, Pilot Powers, Dual H.I.D.s, Brocks brackets and strap, Rear 2" Muzzy Drop, Vortex Rearsets, Scotts Damper, 2 HyperPro Dampers, Puig DB, ASV Levers, Titax Levers, Pazzo Levers, Kill switch (made to look like it's mounted), CA front/rear lights and a owner who adores her...

Yeah his kit looks really nice, especially for $35. I gotta get those block offs and his servo eliminator ordered. I'm assuming the red plug is for where the air comes in...just an assumption though.

Thanks man I almost forgot about ordering these!

yea i wanna order his servo motor shiiz but didn't wanna spend the $60 some dollars or w/e it is right now. I mean if the FI light doesn't hurt performance when on due to a full system install then no worries.

will this kit cause the FI light to come on?

I'm doing the servo eliminator primarily for a spot to put the PCIII. I use my "storage compartment" too much to have the PCIII constantly using that space. How are you ordering all of it?

It's a great kit! I installed it about 2 years ago! Everything went together perfectly!

Slow boy and I currently have our servos out, coping with the FI light. Any performance issues with doing this or does it just give an annoying FI light?

I've heard just the light, but the black piece of electrical tape solves that.

so then if the block off mod causes the FI light to come on why buy there SERVO connector from IVANS to fix the FI light that installing a full system causes? You will still have the FI light from the block off mod... Guess you gotta deal with it or use some tacky piece of electrical tape

The block-off plates do not cause an FI light. Removing the ex. valve servo does. And I'm not 100% but I think the pic is a kit for another bike. The one for the GEN1 has a plastic/rubber cap to put over the hole in the airbox.
