Indicator flash rate (not LED related)

Yo - was riding home yest and noticed my left hand indictor was flashing too quickly. Checked bulbs when I got home and all indicators are working, but the front and rear on the left hand side are flashing quicker then the right. All headlight bulbs etc are working fine so has anyone got any other ideas what the bike is trying to tell me? Nice one.

Usually in a car that means a bulb is about to go out, I would pull the bulbs and look a little closer or just be prepaired that one of them is going to pop soon

My right side has been doing this for a while. It starts out fast and then after 7-8 seconds it starts flashing at the slower rate.

its probably the relay that operates them. if the bulb is "about" to go out, it will still flash at a normal rate until it actually goes out. its probably the relays (relay box?) that operate the flashers
