How long will chain last?

I was just wondering, on average, how long will the drivechain last if it is maintained well?

It will depend a lot on the way you ride your bike..even if it is well mantained and lubbed.

I got nearly 25,000 out of the oem R1 chain and sprockets, and my 636 C1H is almost on 21,000 and is still on the originals, I expected a 520 to wear a bit quicker but it seems ok.

Take care of it and it will last a really long time. My ZX7's has over 20K on it, the 10 about 12K. Cleaning, lubing and not abusing are the keys.
