How do you get the Battery out??

OK I don't consider myself an idiot IMHO but we got a 2006 ZX 10R That I can not figure out how to get the damn battery out.I just ordered a new manual but it won't be for several days.I know the battery is done and am attempting to remove it.I could use some help.............Thanks in advance.Guz

remove both of the side covers, should be one allan head bolt on each side, then pop the covers off. Then there should be an allan head bolt in each side on the pilot's seat. they may be a bitch to break loose. Mine usually are (depending on who's worked on my bike). Then the seat should lift off and you can access the battery. Also somewhere on this forum is a PDF format of the repair manual. It's handy. Good luck!

Do u have the seat and side covers off yet?
if so disconnect all wires from batt.
remove strap/ u may have to move the computer box out a lil it
look under electrical in the service manual or page 529
