Help on PC111 usb locked

Hi guys I was wondering if anyone could help me on un-locking my PC111

I installed the powercommander on my 2005 zx10r quite easy really turn the ignition after it was installed and the lights on the commander did come on.

So I thought Maybe it didn't have a map in it, Put a 9volt battery to the pc3 loaded a map into it which seems like it was taking ages, After the hour it still haven't loaded up so i decided unplug it and try again!

Now all it's says is pc3 is locked

Can anyone Help Please!

call powercommander. They will definately help you out. Worst case scenario would be you taking the commander out and sending it to them to unlock if you cant get it done over the phone with them.

It will need the programmer box, some shops may have one. It is used when doing firmware updates and such. We had to use it on a buddies ZX14.

what you need is the PCPROG like the guy said above. i have one...it seems its just a serial to USB converter (i could probably make one) its 40.00 from dynojet (in american funny money that is). it will come with the power adapter and a usb cable and the pcprog and a mini-cd (yes, the small ones) of the dyno jet utils in a flash (as in web) based utility that will allow firmware upgrades and what not. you didnt happen to try a firmware upgrade on this did you? cause certain firmwares cant be flashed via usb (or it will brick) and you need to use the pcprog. also, it cant be flashed when the bike is running (durr ta durr).

post back if your still having trouble cause ive been down this shitty road before. i know ill get flamed, but PCIIIs suck...one thing i miss is my zukies reflashable stock ECU. the stock ecus almost never dump.

but its probably a good idea for you to get the pcprog anyways...it will save your ass sometime i bet (and others too) i know mine did.

Send a message via AIM to garth285
can anything come up on the power commander,. I know that if you can get anything to come up if you hit the TOOLS and then the ENVIRONMENT OPTIONS and then you press CTRL + R a reset button should show up... I dont know if you can get that far but maybe try it???
