Heavy clutch, is this normal?

I've got a 2006 (Gen2) ZX10R which I bought used and the clutch lever is pretty heavy....is this normal on a Gen2 ?

Compared to what? A busa or 14, then yes as those are hydraulic. It could also have some heavy duty clutch springs in it, which would also make the level pull heavier.

Best 1/4mi ET: 8.98 @ 147 (stock motor, no turbo/nitrous)

everyone says mines really heavy too, bike runs like a G and im used to it so i never worry abt it.

Compared to a 929 Fireblade or an R6....the lever is pretty heavy!

It shouldn't be that much heavier than those at all unless it has heavy duty clutch springs or the cable is binding...

Best 1/4mi ET: 8.98 @ 147 (stock motor, no turbo/nitrous)

my buddy has an r6 hes the one that said it was heavy, but u gotta remember. our 10s are comparable to a chuck norris roundhouse kick to the face, theyre THAT badass

sounds like the previous owner might installed some HD clutch springs.
