I thought that they would blink slower too when I installed them. There's a thread somewhere for a variable load resistor that should fix the problem.

I just tried a quick search, but couldn't come up with the thread.

It's basically a variable load resistor that you install inline that will handle any type of turn signal you throw at the bike.

If you follow up with Gregg's, please let me know what he has to say about the fast blink. It doesn't bother me so much, but I wouldn't mind slowing it down either.

Gentlemen....it Is Very Easy....you Can Either By A Couple Of Resistors And Put Them In Line Or Change The Flasher Relay In The Bike (which I Did), It Is Very Easy And No Matter What Blinkers You Put On In The Future The Speed Of The Flash Will Remain Constant. The Part Number Of The Flasher Is El12, You Can Get It At Any Parts Store For A Few Bucks.....any Questions Give Me A Holler

Send a message via AIM to stunnerific_harry
you got ay pics of it on your bike?

Kip: Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.
Pedro: Yes. I don't understand... they say you're not allowed to have pinatas that look like real people, but in Mexico, we do it all the time.
Pedro: Vote for me, and all your wildest dreams will come true.

I also did what MAVRIK said, cost was $6 from Auto Advance. Installed in under 15 mintues. Locate old flasher relay and remove wires, take wires out of stock harness (use a punch to get them out), then cut off connectors, crimp on new connectors, tape the rubber mount around the new relay, place relay on post on undertray, put back on stock seat and you are done....truthfully it is that simple!
