graves slip on vs crash

Hi guys,

I just bought a grave slip on for my G4.

I was wondering if there was anyway to protect the exhaust in case of a low side?

thx

That exhaust is the last thing you should be concerned about in a low slide crash.

To answer your question, No I don't think so.

Yes.

Or if you're crafty, you can do what I did and get a heater hose and hose clamp and make the same thing for $7.

I only use it at the track and it's cheap insurance for my Austin Racing pipe

A lot of the Gen 4 bikes have GP exhausts so it's one of the first and most expensive things to touch. Why add $600-$1000 to your tab?

motohose sliders work great! tested them many times on the supermoto bikes. these are not just rubber hoses, they are a special polymer that actually slides and will take abrasion. heater hose, carb hose ect... are like wearing jeans when riding. they wont do much for protection. I think GB racing or RG racing makes a similar clamp on slider for exhaust cans.

you can order the motohose here: http://www.motohose.com/shop/categor...am=cid%3D %26

Ski

May we all, get to have a chance to ride the fast one, walk away wiser when we crash one, keep hopin that the best one is the last one.
