Gen 6 Ti Rods in Gen 1?

I think I have read the gen 4 Rods have been used in a gen 1, now with the gen6 having Ti Rods does anyone have any info on the specs or if they are compatible and if not can they be modified to fit a gen1

Price spec: your bike value multiplied by two!

Gen4 race: high spec.
Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa 2013: stock.
Kawasaki KX450F 2016: love it.

Look at the factory service manual: it will call out pin diameter for the piston, center-to-center length, and rod bearing diameter(s).... if they are all the same compared to the gen 1, then you should be able to swap them. However, you'll have to use bearings from gen 6 as well, so make sure those also spec to the same thickness (it's in the manual as well).

For example, I'm putting rods in an 07 motor; 04-10 rods are all interchangeable. 11-14 rods will work too, but the tangs on the bearings are offset differently, so I have to run the 11+ rod bearing to make it work.
