there are no numbers or stampings to identify the 08 race from stk. 08 int. cam. same lift for both. im unaware of any difference in base circle which would give different measurement of total cam profile, but there may be. only way I know to determine checking duration with cam degree setup. at .050 race has 234 duration, stk. 230. both visually look exactly alike.

If u have both of them in front of u ll be easy...Gen3 stock cams are heavier than gen1/2 stock cams and race kit cams...

Talking Race cam

Did the lift are different or just the duration vs stock cam ?

Here is a picture of the cams in question. One has a smooth machine fished down the shaft of the cam the other is ruff. Are these Gen 2 /3 or a race cam?

Gen 1/2 stock intake cam : smooth machine finished down 9.1mm lift
Gen 3 stock intake cam : rough machine finished down 9.7 lift
Gen1/2 race intake cam : smooth but 9.7mm lift
Gen 3 race intake cam : smooth 9.7mm lift but has more duration vs the stock one
