Gen 3 issue

I was riding today and when I was cruising in 6th gear the bike started to jump on me WOT. Almost like the fuel was cut and then right back on. It would be a random occurrence but would happen enough to force me to turn around and park it. I would down shift and it would in 5th and other gears, but very randomly. I hope its the clutch however it wasn't slipping and the revs wouldn't go up, like a slip when it would happen.

Anyone heard of this, have any idea?

Thanks in advance.
