Gen 2 Power Commander Choices

Any Preference on Bazzaz, PC-V, ETC? We race a ZX10R powered race car. Changing from a Gen One to a Gen Two. Gen one we used a PC 3 and the Ivans map which has worked well over the years.

If you could post a pic of the said 10r powered car then that would really help me in my opinion.

I personally have a pcv on my gen 4, but if i was in the market to buy new today it would be a bazzaz.
Theres no reasoning except ive herad good stuff about them, and i already know how the pcv works.

Maybe its a male thing .... keeping my options open looking for the next....

But seriously a pic would be helpful.

There's no tuning advantage of getting a PCV over a PCIII unless you plan to add the accessories (LCD, SFM, etc, etc). The PCIII though is discontinued these days and the PCV is the only thing available. It basically works the same as a PCIII does if you're already familiar with that.

The Bazzaz is good too, but there are many more tuning centers available for the Power Commander.

I may not be perfect, but at least I don't ride a Suzuki.

what skydork said, no advantage in afr tuning with pcv. i prefer dynojet over bazzaz, can be tuned in tighter increments and tps signal more stable.

Both have been successful, but I am one of a few still running a Gen 1.

I would think the G2 motor would be better in a car as the torque curve is lower in the RPM range. There's a bit more power out of the G2 as well, but the characteristics are more linear. I would expect it to be a better fit for a dirt-tracker.
