Gen 1 ?

Hey guys have quick question. I already did a search but had no luck. I have an 04 with a Leo slip on. I was wondering if I could run a K&N or BMC air filter without adding a power commander yet. Would it be a loss or gain of power? Don't have money for power commander yet. Thanks

I ran my 04 with an Akra and K&N and no pc for awhile - it ran great.

Thumbs up

You should be good to go. I ran a K&N and Muzzy exhaust for a few weeks before I got off my ass and put my PCIII on. I didn't notice any difference other than throttle response was better after the PCIII and it didn't backfire so much.
