gas porting pistons

I've searched the forum with no luck... Anyone here had their pistons gas ported??? I went with 13.5 JE pistons with an overbore and used their rings... didn't seat... I've been told this has been a problem for several who have done overbores... just finished tearing the motor back down to put in total seal rings and have been told by a few to gas port the pistons... any input???

Thanks Brian

absolute must. They will not seal especially with total seals. I would run the standard ringset and gas port the piston. PM or call Dwayne at Cycle Concepts we went through this on mine.

The gas ports work GREAT till they clog up with carbon over time. Just be prepared to go back in there again.

So you think the total seals are worse huh...
