Fuel pump gone...inline pump and regulator?

05 zx10 with 6700 miles. Iím pretty sure my fuel pump has taken the big plunge. I have not had time to tear it apart b\c of working on customers bikes ( is sad the mechanics bike is always broke) The bike had been running inconsistently for some time now some days it was stronger than others. Wednesday on a ride it started surging under hard load. so i think the pump had been on its last let for some time now. now it will die if I whack it to WOT.

I really donít wont to go back to the stock pump setup. i would like to do a inline pump and regulator. Any one got any suggestion on with pump to go with. The last inline i did on my jeep was LOUD!!! is there any quiet inline pumps? Also regulators.. areomotive?

Not going to search for you but FAF on this site and a few others have done extensive research for aftermarket pumps.....do the search it's already been covered with the information your seeking.

I looked through all the post and all i can find is the walbro to replace the intank pump.

I plan to take the pump out of the tank and make a plate with some 6an or 8an fittings and run a inline pump and regulator.

All the pumps i have found are for 500+hp and are pretty noisy. Any suggestions as to what woud be a good pump for the my application? ill spend up to $500 on the setup.

I have heard of some systems on busas like this one but i have not seen any info or specs on them.

Email me your ship-to address and I will send you a complete low-mileage unit for the shipping cost alone. It may not be what you are looking for - but you can ride your bike without much worry.

There are a zillion pumps you can use, my second bike (still in progress) has a walbro 255 external pump, bosch filter and aeromotive regulator with return system , running 60lbs pressure.

Vince10R has an external Walbro too.

The stock fuel pump will fuck up your day in a heartbeat, it is Mitsushiti dung.

I run the walbro 255 inline on mine, It is no where near as loud as the walbro intank pump I had in it, but still louder than stock. Finding room for it is the hard part.

Spend a lil more money and get a Bosch. Bosch is OEM on a few vehicles and OEM stuff is ALWAYS better
