Engine case differences?

Hello; Mike here. Does anybody know what the difference is between the Gen2, and Gen 3 engine cases? They have a different part#, but look identical. Anybody know off hand? Anybody have a set of Gen 3 cases they want to sell? Thanks. Mike.

The differences are probably not noticeable by looking at it. A few thousandth here, a few mm there, and a new part number it is. Don't think it's interchangeable like that, but not 100% sure either

I may not be perfect, but at least I don't ride a Suzuki.
