Dyno Tune vs ESD Light

So, I have never really heard of the ESD light causing a lose of power until now after reading prior post regarding the removal of the electronic steering damper. I know I definitely don't feel a loss of power, and haven't seen any proof of the power loss. Seeing that I want to get a custom tune anyways, I am going to do the first initial pulls with the stock ESD plugged in (light off) and then with it removed. I will post my findings out as soon as I have them.

Well there is no loss of power if the esd light is on from unplugging the electronic steering damper.
