Dyno jet quick shifter

I have a 2011 ZX-10 and I am wondering why I need a SFM along with the pc5 to make the quick shifter.
Could someone please explain.
Thanks

Because the QS interrupts the fuel delivery to unload the transmission to make the shift. The PC alone only controls the lower 4 injectors. You need another unit that controls the upper injectors to shut off all the fuel to make the shift.

I may not be perfect, but at least I don't ride a Suzuki.

or you can go with a Bazzaz qs4 stand alone unit, which uses a better qs switch, and cuts the ignition v.s fuel. and it is programmable for all gears, when you want different cuts for different gears. the higher the gear the less cut you need to make the shift.

Ski

May we all, get to have a chance to ride the fast one, walk away wiser when we crash one, keep hopin that the best one is the last one.

Yeah, I'm using the QS4USB unit from Bazzaz as well. Nothing but good things to say about it.
