Dyno Charts

I need a little help from some 06-07 zx-10 members that have had dyno runs done. I am wanting to see some dyno charts that show A/F and hp through out the rpm range. I am trying to see at what A/F at a given rpm range is best for HP and TQ. So if any one has some dyno runs and would like to help a fellow member out please post them it would be greatly apreciated. Also if you could list your mods as well. I am trying to take the guess work out what A/F to tune my bike for various maps such max HP, cruising, and fuel economy. I am running the Bazzaz system as some of you know and I am doing some testing with it. I will post my finding once I have finished and my maps so that maybe they can help some of you out there that have the Bazzaz get a start with good baseline map. I also understand that you guys had to pay money to have these dyno runs done so if you want a few dollars for the charts then PM me with a price and I will gladly pay a reasonable price for them. Thanks in advance.

Not as much as people would think.

AF should be really close.

Thanks for the info FAF I will give it a try. I have to say thanks also to Dragone he has sent me his Dyno charts. So now I have two sets of A/F to start with. Now if I can just get out on the bike and get some test done. I was hoping today but he the family has other ideas.

  • Reshaped intake ports
  • Completely redesigned exhaust ports using a converging diverging design
  • Higher lift longer duration intake cam
  • Lower lift exhaust cam
  • Increased compression ratio
  • 2ndary Shower head injectors
  • revised ignition timing
  • 1MM smaller exhaust valve
  • revised ram air box
  • Higher flowing air filter

Yep, not much difference in the 06-07 and 08 engines.

Now that is more of what I was thinking. All those changes to intake have to have some a great effect on the way the bike makes power. I will still give OG numbers a try. Thanks for the Specs JJ.

Really the big difference between the 06-07 and the 08 when it comes to the A/F ratio tunning is the secondary shower heads. Especially since the Bazzaz could control those and the PC3 cannot.

With your 06 though its hard to compare the 06-07 to 08 because of the 2 shower heads.

There isnt much difference in the way it burns fuel and also the cylinder shapes are pretty similar , the secondary injectors are just that.

There is not much difference in how it burns fuel and how efficient it is .

AF would be the same or as near as damn it.

Most performance engines would run between 0.88 and 0.92 Lambda.

Not much difference at all , just a long list of different tweaks.

Infact if you look at it most of the tweaks are what everybody is doing to their engines anyway apart from the milder exhaust cam and the port shapes.

Efficiency is still approximately the same , and forgetting all the hype the engines have very similar output numbers.
