did i install straps correctly?

i purchased them used from a member w/o instructions. as you can see in the pics i installed the brackets facing aft of the caliper and the straps are routed between the triple and tank, locating the clamp on the left side. note: tension is not applied is these pics. my bike is lowered front and back 1.5 inches

i have no clue i was so beat last week w "expeditionary combat skills training" and this week i have nothing but work and appointments. what ever free time i have in the after noons my wife tends to consume w tlc-time and honey-do shit. all because im deploying in sept.

Just make sure it doesn't affect steering when strapped and it's not strapped on throttle cables and such.

They are correct, but use them only for drag racing, it does not steer in the street, should lower your times 2 tenths.

Good luck at the drag strip
