cut seat???

i was thinking of attempting to do this. have any of you done it and reapplied the factory cover again? i plan on taking all the factory foam out and putting a thin piece of this harder foam that i aquired from an upolsterer.
i was just wondering if there is any kinda heads up i might need. thanks in advance fuggers.

Upholstery shops do that all the time to take foam out of the seat for shorter riders. It would probably cost you all of about $50 to have a pro do it and it will come out perfect.

Yea, the honda seats are like sitting on a wooden plank. Ive contemplted doing a lil trim job on the seat too cuz Im a short lil shit!

Yep, I had that done by a upholstery shop. 50 bucks & closer to the ground! Pretty comfy as well. Sargents in Flordia does it also but they charge 250 for it (or somewhere near that I think).

Go for it just go to a good shop that knows what they are doing with bike seats. I have a few friends that have done some of there own jobs and they didnt come out to bad.

$50 aint much, but I'd say if you gotta good staple gun, do it yourself.
