Correct model Healtech X TRE?

I am trying to find out which Healtech TRE fits 2007 ZX10R. I cant find any available for 2007 10r online, only 2008+ up?

There is one available locally (K01 model) but when I asked the shop owner if it would fit a 2007 zx10r - shop only said "if it has a white triangle plug it will work". Shop just wants to sell it. I want to buy it, but ONLY IF it is the correct model! The shops "Check for white triangle plug" doesnt do much to instill confidence it is the correct model. Especially since the shop doesnt take returns on electrical products.

I want to be 100% sure Healtech TRE "K01" is in fact for 2007 ZX10R before I buy.

Also can anyone direct me to a reputable on-line seller who may have in stock tre for 2007 zx10r - IF "K01" is NOT in fact the correct model for this bike?

Thank you MUCH in advance for any help!!!

Use the site Sponsors.

As for the X-TRE maybe you don't now the terminalogy.....do you just want a gear indicator with a TRE? ...X-TRE is for bikes already equipped with a Gear Indicator but will not disable it by installing a TRE......sorry I can't help more but you need to be more specific....here is the website:

I only want the timing retard eliminator - no gear indicator. So looking for TRE only. Thanks much bluedevil! My apologies in advance for the confusion. Thank you for the clairification on the difference between the two different models..

Also one other question;

Is there any difference between the Ivans performance TRE or the Healtech TRE in terms of quality, etc. I am guessing they do the exact same thing? Just vary in terms of costs? $114.00 for healtech vs $60.00 for Ivans performance?

I am sold on the TRE concept; I am simply looking to verify correct healtech model for 07 ZX10R & hear reviews if Ivans performance works exactly the same?

Thanks again! You guys/this site have always come through for me. If ever in Oahu, Hawaii pls call me up! Happy to give you local tour of island.

The Healtech link posted only shows XTRE no TRE.

The Gen 2 models use the Healtech GIPro with ATRE. It's the combined gear indicator and TRE. The XTRE won't work. You could also go with Ivans TRE if you really don't want the gear indicator.

I may not be perfect, but at least I don't ride a Suzuki.

Look up what part # you need here. See sidebar for X-TRE w/o indicator.

It's actually called a Timing Retard Eliminator basically a resistor that tells your ECU what gear or if in neutral what map to use...so yeah then you don't need the GiPro or X-TRE(2008 and above) for your year bike year....you need to just a TRE try site sponsors first if not ebay should be easy to get.

I just found through healtech product advisor the shop was trying to sell me a XTRE (K01!) for 2008 & up. Had a feeling it was not the right item. Just going to get the Ivans. Thanks much all.
